How TOesday: Be a classy schoolgirl

This past weekend I’ve been visiting Oradea for a business matter and I thought I should try out some of their most well known stores. I asked some of my best friends here, and that’s how I got to THE CODE OUTLET, on the ground floor of their largest shopping mall – Oradea Shopping City, and fell in love for the first time with Italian brands like RED Valentino, GF Ferre, John Galliano, but also CNC and ACHT jeans.

Looking like a schoolgirl is not always good in matters of fashion. When you’re not a schoolgirl anymore but try to look like one, you often can look ridiculous ( like Katy Perry here ). But without even thinking of school & girls I just put on this outfit and it instantly reminded me of a velvet skirt I had when I was a kid ( that looked just like this one ) and how I used to wear it to school. Of course, some things changed here and there. Like the red bra under the super pretty shirt. And also, I used to wear my socks with my pretty patent leather ballerinas, but the socks by the way- were very similar to these ones – sometimes I just can’t believe I can get away with the same looks that I used to wear almost 20 years ago.

The title – be a classy schoolgirl – may continue like this – not a trashy one! That is because every time a woman goes back to her childhood wardrobe – she tends to look tasteless. My advice is:

* If you really want to try to look like a schoolgirl – you shouldn’t forget to change the womanly elements. After all, you’re not 7 anymore! Braided hair and lollipops are not in your day to day favorites.

See you on Instagram @CristinaFeather and on Facebook, my dear friends!
