I don’t know about you, but I am a blogosphere passionate. I have many fashion & lifestyle blogs in my bookmarks and there are some that I even visit daily, even if it’s for two minutes. If your life is mainly on the internet like mine is (my work is mostly at the computer & on the internet, besides events, meetings and stuff like that)… you understand why I like to just pause sometimes, and let my mind run free into other people’s lives, worlds, etc. I’m that kind of person who likes to read books and feel part of the story or loves good TV series and gets attached to the characters (I cried when SATC or Friends ended, yes, you can laugh, whatever! I couldn’t care less).
Maybe that’s why I like the idea of a blog so much. I love to get to know a piece of somebody else’s life. I think I like to study people (that sounds creepy enough!) and to know more about how people & societies work in different parts of the world.
When I saw my long bookmarks list I thought that maybe it would be a good idea to share with you what I heart on the internet, even if it’s about a blog, a youtube channel, a video or just something very inspiring.
At first I used to keep an eye only on the well-known bloggers, but after a while I got sick of so much Advertising. I can relate to the fact that a girl (or a boy) has to eat (I like eating, too). But when the blog is not a personal page anymore, but a sequence of commercial after commercial, it’s not that fun anymore. No matter how amazing the images are, no matter the funny text and comments. It just doesn’t touch me anymore and doesn’t make me want to come back. That’s why, even tough I sometimes do advertising on my blog or just talk about brands that I favor, I like to keep it real, and also show you my real clothes, stuff that I truly wear on the street or that I would like to wear. I will always keep in my bookmarks the bloggers that make me smile, that inspire me, but most of all those that keep things real – no matter what!
Now that we got that out of the way, I’d like to introduce you to one of my newest blogger finds. Her texts are smart, fun and have a honesty that I love and her images are vibrant, full of life, so inspiring and original (and be prepared for some serious styling amazingness [does this word really exist?]). She is Natalie Joos from TalesofEndearment.com. Some of my favorite articles on her blog are The answer to your fitness ( the video is so cool and the text so honest and inspiring, and yes, it’s Advertising, but you can see that it’s something true to her heart&lifestyle) and Heart over Heels, a piece she wrote for British Vogue about what to wear when you decide you don’t want to be a single girl anymore.
This photo with her showing us her back – is perfection if you ask me – and it kind of reminds me of Carrie.
First photo is from Pinterest (couldn’t find the real source).
All photos of Natalie Joos are taken from her website TalesOfEndearment.com.
Until next time,
